Regular Season Round 21: Avenida - Zamarat 79-56

LFB top team - Perfumerias Avenida (20-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Zamarat (5-16) in Salamanca 79-56. The game without a history. Perfumerias Avenida led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Zamarat's 32. They outrebounded Zamarat 38-20 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American-Ukrainian DAndra Moss (178-88, college: VCU, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Brazilian center Erika De-Souza (197-82, agency: ProDep Management) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Perfumerias Avenida's coach Miguel Angel Ortega felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Marina Lizarazu (173-95, college: Iona) answered with 17 points and American guard Brianna Butler (180-94, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) added 8 points in the effort for Zamarat. Perfumerias Avenida have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 20-1 record. Zamarat at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Perfumerias Avenida are looking forward to face Gernika (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Zamarat will play against Mann Filter (#3) in Zaragoza and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
