Round 20 in National League means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Kfar Saba where host Hapoel Kfar Saba (10-10) beat league's leader Ironi Kiryat Ata (14-6) 87-78 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Ironi Kiryat Ata. Hapoel Kfar Saba shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American power forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Byron Wesley (196-92, college: Gonzaga, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Yonathan Levi (206-90) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and guard Daniel Danino (185-96) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Four Ironi Kiryat Ata players scored in double figures. Hapoel Kfar Saba have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 10-10 record. Ironi Kiryat Ata at the other side dropped to the second place with six games lost. They share the position with Maccabi K/G. They were replaced at the leadership position by Macc.Rehovot. Ironi Kiryat Ata will play next round against Hapoel Galilee trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
