There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Tessilform Bernareggio (9-15) won against at home 8th ranked Desio (11-13) 69-57 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was center Lorenzo Petrosino (202-92, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Federico De Bettin (180-94) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Tessilform Bernareggio's coach Marco Cardani used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American swingman Xavier Brown (196-91, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who recorded 14 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Carlo Fumagalli (188-96) added 10 points respectively. Newly promoted Tessilform Bernareggio maintains eleventh position in B with 9-15 record. Loser Desio keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost. Tessilform Bernareggio will face higher ranked Padova (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
