Regular Season Round 20: Grindavik - IR 95-89

The most important game in the last round took place in Grindavik between second ranked IR (14-6) and sixth ranked Grindavik (11-9) on Thursday night. IR was defeated by Grindavik in a tough game on the road 89-95. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of IR. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Grindavik moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Njardvik. IR at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. Grindavik is looking forward to face Valur (#10) in Reykjavik in the next round where they are favorite. IR will play at home against the league's leader Haukar (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
