Regular Season Round 18: Valga - Tartu Ulikool 76-96

An interesting game for Tartu Ulikool (14-6) which played road game in Valga against 4th ranked Valga (11-10). Second ranked Tartu Ulikool had an easy win 96-76. The game without a history. Tartu Ulikool led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Valga's 30 and made 24-of-30 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Tartu Ulikool players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Valga was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Five Tartu Ulikool and four Valga players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tartu Ulikool have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-6 record having three points less than leader Kalev/Cramo. Valga at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. Tartu Ulikool will play against Rapla (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Valga will play against Parnu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
