Regular Season Round 20: Fubon Braves - KKL 79-80

The most exciting game of round 20 in the SBL ended with only one-point defeat of 5th ranked Fubon Braves (11-11) to third ranked KKL (13-11) 80-79 on Friday evening. American-Puerto Rican center Peter Ramos (222-85) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Jia-Qing Li (190-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Tsung-Hsien Chang (192-87, college: BYU-Hawaii) replied with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Fubon Braves. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KKL have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 13-11 record behind leader Yulon Luxgen. Fubon Braves lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 11 games lost. KKL are looking forward to face league's second-placed Pauian in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fubon Braves will play against Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
