The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Entente Orleans 45 (16-4) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by ADA Blois (16-4) 98-81. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 98-81. ADA Blois shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Tyren Johnson (202-88, college: La-Lafayette) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Assane Ndoye (202-96) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five ADA Blois players scored in double figures. Puerto Rican point guard Alexander Abreu (180-91, college: W.Georgia) replied with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Entente Orleans 45. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ADA Blois have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Orleans. ADA Blois is looking forward to face Lille Metropole (#4) at home in the next round. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Quimper UJAP and is hoping to win this game.
