Regular Season Round 23: Bauru - Pinheiros 85-84

The most exciting game of round 23 in the NBB took place in Bauru. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Pinheiros (13-10) to fifth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (15-9) 85-84 on Friday evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Pinheiros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for the former international center Rafael Hettsheimer (206-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 9 rebounds. Four Pinheiros players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Paschoalotto/Bauru maintains fifth place with 15-9 record. Pinheiros at the other side dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. Paschoalotto/Bauru are looking forward to face Universo/Vitoria (#8) in Salvador in the next round. Pinheiros will play at home against Minas and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
