Regular Season Round 18: Rapla - TLU/Kalev 65-64

Fifth-ranked TLU/Kalev (8-10) was very close to win a game against third ranked Rapla (12-8) on Friday. Rapla managed to secure only one-point victory 65-64. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TLU/Kalev. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a good game for American guard Nolan Cressler (195-94, college: Vanderbilt, agency: 3Eye) who saved his team from a defeat with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Croatian center Domagoj Bubalo (212-91, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Senegalese center Bamba Fall (217-86, college: SMU) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and American forward Kayel Locke (196-94, college: NC-Greensboro) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for TLU/Kalev. Rapla maintains third position with 12-8 record having five points less than leader Kalev/Cramo. TLU/Kalev at the other side keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. Rapla are looking forward to face league's second-placed Tartu Ulikool on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TLU/Kalev's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena Kalev/Cramo.
