Regular Season Round 40: Shinshu BW - Kagawa FA 64-56

There was a minor upset in Nagano where 5th ranked Kagawa FA (16-21) was defeated by fifth ranked Shinshu BW (17-21) 64-56 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Takei Hiroaki (182-91) who added 14 points during the contest. At the losing side Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and guard Tsukuba Tsukuba (188-92) scored 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Shinshu BW maintains fifth position with 17-21 record which they share with defeated Kagawa FA. Kagawa FA lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 21 games lost. Shinshu BW will face again Kagawa FA (#5) in Takamatsu in the next round.
