Rioja's coach Xabier Chico rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Aros Patatas. They moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with GDKO Bizkaia. Newly promoted Rioja keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Aros Patatas will face Lima-Horta (#10) in Barcelona in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rioja will play at home against Joventut LC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
