Regular Season Round 23: Albacete - Aquimisa LZ 75-65

There was no surprise when 15th ranked Zamorano (5-18) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Albacete (15-8) 75-65. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Javier Marin (194-86) who led the winners and scored 11 points and 4 assists. American guard Garret Covington (196-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Two Points) accounted for 14 points for the winning side. American forward Brett Ervin (201-91, college: Minn.-Duluth, agency: Duran International) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Chris Hansen (193-93, college: Idaho St.) added 21 points respectively for Zamorano in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Albacete maintains fourth place with 15-8 record. Zamorano at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 18 games lost. Albacete's next round opponent will be league's second-placed CB Granada on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zamorano will play against Real Canoe (#9) and hope to win that game.
