Leader Inter Bratislava delivered the twenty ninth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked Zilina (5-28) 120-67. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Zilina's 28. They outrebounded Zilina 37-25 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Inter Bratislava shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Zilina's players. The best for the losing side was guard Robert Rozanek (190-96) with 25 points and Serbian guard Jovan Crnic (196-94, college: Abil.Christian) scored 14 points. Defending champion maintains first place with 29-4 record. Zilina lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 28 games lost. Inter Bratislava will meet Kosice (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Zilina will play against Iskra Svit (#5) and hope to secure a win.
