No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked San Martino (10-9) beat 8th ranked Torino (6-13) in San Martino di L 61-51 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for international power forward Jasmine Keys (190-97) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Megan Mahoney (183-83, college: Kansas St., agency: LBM Management) accounted for 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side. American forward Sophie Brunner (185-95, college: Arizona St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import swingman Jasmine Gill (185-90, college: JMU, agency: Two Points) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Torino in the defeat. Torino's coach Massimo Riga rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. San Martino moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Lucca. Torino lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. San Martino will meet Lucca (#5) on the road in the next round. Torino will play against Broni and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
