An interesting game for Aishin Sea Horses (32-8) which played road game in Shiga against 4th ranked Shiga L-Stars (12-28). First ranked Aishin Sea Horses had an easy win 108-92. Aishin Sea Horses made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Shiga L-Stars were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international swingman Makoto Hiejima (190-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 6 assists. The former international swingman Kosuke Kanamaru (193-89) contributed with 30 points for the winners. Four Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures. American-Israeli center DOr Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Narito Namizato (172-89) added 24 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Shiga L-Stars. Shiga L-Stars' coach Shawn Dennis rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Aishin Sea Horses have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 32-8 record, which they share with Ryukyu GK. Shiga L-Stars at the other side keep the fourth place with 28 games lost. Aishin Sea Horses will face Hokkaido L. (#6) in Saporro in the next round where they are favorite. Shiga L-Stars will play on the road against the league's second-placed Kyoto Hannar. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
