Very expected game in Santiago de Comp where 12th ranked Obradoiro II (8-15) was crushed by fifth ranked Carbajosa (13-10) 69-46 on Sunday. The game without a history. Carbajosa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Obradoiro II to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Guard Gabriel Roman (185-97) stepped up and scored 21 points for the winners and guard Francisco Pomares (192-94) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Rodrigo Gomez responded with 8 points and 7 rebounds and Juan Castro scored 11 points. Obradoiro II's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Carbajosa have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place in Group A-B, which they share with Leon. Obradoiro II at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Carbajosa will face Venta de Banos (#16) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Obradoiro II will play against Coruna II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
