We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in La Rioja where 5th ranked San Martin LR (6-12) was defeated by sixth ranked Jahal SJ (5-12) 97-91 on Sunday. San Martin LR was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was swingman Julio Carrizo (191-93) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Ismael Sarruf (187-93) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds.
