Leader Gran Canaria delivered the twentieth victory. This time they beat 11th ranked Promete (5-15) 60-47 in Logrono. Promete was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 35-17 second half run of Gran Canaria. They also forced 20 Promete turnovers. American point guard Starr Breedlove (168-93, college: UTEP) nailed 27 points for the winning side and Sokhna Ndiaye accounted for 10 points and 11 rebounds. Gran Canaria's next round opponent will be Adareva (#13) in Laguna which should be an easy win for them.
