Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Porvoon Tarmo (5-17) was edged by fourth ranked ToPo (15-6) in Helsinki 89-86 on Sunday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Porvoon Tarmo was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 9-point lead after three quarters before a 30-18 charge of ToPo, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 Porvoon Tarmo turnovers. Porvoon Tarmo was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Gambian center Baboucarr Ceesay (197-94) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Juuso Kauppinen (188-94) contributed with 27 points for the winners. ToPo's coach Pekka Konttinen used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Michael Besselink (198-99) answered with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Joona Tuomala (197-97) added 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Porvoon Tarmo. Four Porvoon Tarmo players scored in double figures. ToPo moved-up to third place in Division. Loser Porvoon Tarmo keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost.
