Regular Season Round 21: Korikouvot - HBA-Marsky 62-75

1st Division top team - HBA-Marsky (19-3) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Korikouvot (11-11) in Kouvola 75-62. The game was mostly controlled by HBA-Marsky. Korikouvot managed to win second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Center Aleksi Liukko (210-99) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and forward Thomas Exaucia (194-1) accounted for 7 points and 10 rebounds. HBA-Marsky's coach Antti Koskelainen used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Ilmari Toikkanen (207-96) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Kenneth Hall (201-93, college: W.Carolina) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Korikouvot in the defeat. HBA-Marsky maintains first place in Division with 19-3 record. Loser Korikouvot dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost.
