Regular Season Round 21: TuNMKY - Lahti 93-85

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Lahti (15-7) against fifth ranked TuNMKY (14-8) on Sunday night. Visiting Lahti was defeated by TuNMKY in a tough game in Turun 85-93. Lahti was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 47-33 second half run of TuNMKY. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Center Mikael Sandberg (210-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Eero Innamaa (188-98) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. TuNMKY's coach Juha Ruohonen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American power forward Henry Pwono (203-91, college: East Central) with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and guard Sami Ikavalko (188-89) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. TuNMKY maintains fifth place in Division with 14-8 record. Lahti at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost.
