Second Stage Round 2: Deerlijk - Spirou Monceau 60-68

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Tulikivi (0-1) in Deerlijk on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by R.Spirou Monceau (1-0) 68-60. Tulikivi was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 21-5 charge of R.Spirou Monceau, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tulikivi to just 5 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Tulikivi 34-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. Serbian forward Andjelina Radic (187-94) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Seraphine Bastin (170-0) chipped in 11 points during the contest. Forward Celine Lemmens (180-95) responded with 21 points and point guard Lisa Foucart (170-92) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. R.Spirou Monceau will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tulikivi will play on the road against Castors Braine (#1) and is hoping to win this game.
