The game between second ranked Denso Iris (25-7) and 10th ranked Aishin Wings (8-24) in Kariya on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Denso Iris outscored guests from Anjo 92-61. The game without a history. Denso Iris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Aishin Wings' 34 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Denso Iris looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international power forward Maki Takada (183-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. Center Himawari Akaho (181-98) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Denso Iris players scored in double figures. Denso Iris' coach Hiroshi Kojima felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Center Baiq Ghua (185-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Kiho Miyashita (178-98) added 14 points in the effort for Aishin Wings. Denso Iris maintains second position with 25-7 record having six points less than leader JX-Eneos S., which they share with Toyota A. Aishin Wings lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 24 games lost. Denso Iris will face Chanson V-M (#4) in Shizuoka in the next round. Aishin Wings will play on the road against Mitsubishi K. (#6) in Nagoya and hope to win that game.
