The game in Reykjavik was also quite interesting. Third ranked Hamar (17-6) played at the court of 6th ranked Fjolnir (9-15). Hamar defeated Fjolnir 87-73 on Monday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Hamar well out of reach of Fjolnir shooting 74.1 percent from the field and made 70-of-75 free shots (93.3 percent) during the game, while Fjolnir only scored ten points from the stripe. They outrebounded Fjolnir 94-41 including a 33-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hamar shot the lights out from three sinking 41 long-distance shots on high 68.3 percentage. Forward Sigvaldi Eggertsson (197-0) added 20 points for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Hamar have a solid four-game winning streak.
