Regular Season Round 25: Suchy Las - SMS PZKosz 87-64

There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Suchy Las (6-19) crushed higher ranked SMS PZKosz (14-10) in Poznan 87-64 on Tuesday. SMS PZKosz was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for forward Aleksander Lewandowski (198-0, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Guard Aleksander Adamczak (192-0) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Adrian Matyszkiewicz (199-98) answered with 15 points and center Szymon Zapala (203-1) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for SMS PZKosz. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Suchy Las moved-up to twelfth place in Group A, which they share with Olsztyn. Loser SMS PZKosz keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Suchy Las will face higher ranked Trefl II Sopot (#10) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
