Regular Season Round 24: Norrkoping - Jamtland 71-91

Leading Norrkoping Dolphins (17-7) recorded its seventh loss at the home court. Hosts were rolled over by fourth ranked KFUM Jamtland (13-11) 91-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Norrkoping Dolphins. It looked good early as Norrkoping Dolphins took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then KFUM Jamtland had a 29-10 second period charge getting the lead and Norrkoping Dolphins were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 71-91. KFUM Jamtland made 21-of-22 charity shots (95.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Brandon Taylor (201-94, college: Penn St., agency: 3Eye) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds and Croatian guard Toni Prostran (182-91) who added 20 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Mikael Lindquist (193-83) scored 15 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KFUM Jamtland have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Boras. Norrkoping Dolphins at the other side dropped to the second position with seven games lost. KFUM Jamtland will play against Uppsala Basket (#7) on the road in the next round. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against Nassjo (#8) and hope to get back on the winning track.
