Regular Season Round 24: Lourdes - SAP Vaucluse 64-59

There was a small surprise when seventeenth ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (8-16) beat at home 14th ranked SAP Vaucluse (9-15) 64-59 on Tuesday. Lourdes-Tarbes forced 23 SAP Vaucluse turnovers. The best player for the winners was Vincentian-Canadian forward Lien Phillip (203-89) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 19 rebounds. Power forward Guillaume Valayer (201-96) chipped in 8 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Adrien Thimon (188-94) who recorded 15 points and 4 steals and point guard Yann Siegwarth (180-93) added 9 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Lourdes-Tarbes moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Aubenas. Loser SAP Vaucluse keeps the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Lourdes-Tarbes will face higher ranked Souffelweyersheim (#11) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
