Regular Season Round 3: Brasilia - UniFacisa 56-82

There was a small surprise when UniFacisa (2-2) smashed on the road Brasilia (1-2) 82-56 on Wednesday. UniFacisa shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 54.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard Farad Cobb (183-93, college: Cincinnati) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Paulo Nery (190-81) helped adding 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. UniFacisa's coach Eduardo Schafer felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was forward Leonardo De-Souza (200-96) with 16 points and 8 rebounds and guard Leonardo Eltink (193-95) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. UniFacisa will face Macae (#5) at home in the next round. Brasilia will play against Macae and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
