Very important is a home loss of third ranked Polfarmex (19-7) against tenth ranked Biofarm PZN (12-14) on Wednesday night. Host Polfarmex was defeated by Biofarm PZN in a tough game in Kutno 72-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Polfarmex. Biofarm PZN made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Filip Struski (200-94) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Mariusz Konopatzki (192-96) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Bartosz Majewski (188-97) replied with 15 points and swingman Damian Janiak (195-89, agency: Promotex) added 11 points and 5 assists in the effort for Polfarmex. Five Biofarm PZN and four Polfarmex players scored in double figures. Biofarm PZN moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Enea Astoria. Polfarmex at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Sokol Lancut. Biofarm PZN will play against Nysa Klodzko (#14) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Polfarmex will play against SKK Siedlce (#17) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
