Regular Season Round 27: IA - FSU 43-65

Bottom-ranked IA (0-24) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 24th consecutive match to eighth ranked FSU (6-18) 65-43 on Thursday evening. FSU forced 26 IA turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward Antowine Lamb (203-88, college: McPherson) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Florijan Jovanov (197-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. Four FSU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Bjorn Brynjolfsson (192-82) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and center Jon Kristjansson (197-83) added 6 points and 11 rebounds respectively. IA's coach Jon Thordarson gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. FSU maintains eighth place with 6-18 record. IA lost their twenty fourth game in a row. They still close the standings.
