Regular Season Round 24: Den Bosch - Den Helder 91-52

Second ranked Den Bosch (16-4) crushed at home 8th ranked Den Helder (4-18) by 39 points 91-52, which is the biggest margin this round on Thursday night. The game was mostly controlled by Den Bosch. Den Helder managed to win fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Den Bosch forced 21 Den Helder turnovers and outrebounded them 41-20 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-94, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) who scored 17 points and 5 assists. The other American import forward Mike Miklusak (198-94, college: W.Illinois) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard LaVonte Dority (185-91, college: Valparaiso) who recorded 20 points and 4 assists and point guard Boyd Van-Der-Vuurst (188-99) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Den Bosch have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 16-4 record having just two points less than leader Groningen. Newly promoted Den Helder keeps the eighth place with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
