Very predictable result when sixth ranked Grindavik (13-9) defeated at home 11th ranked Thor AK (3-19) 104-89 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Grindavik. Thor AK managed to win second period 30-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Grindavik forced 21 Thor AK turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Thor AK's players. Guard Dagur Jonsson (185-95, college: St.Francis, NY) fired 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners.
