Regular Season Round 22: Le Mans - Antibes 93-62

Very expected game when 14th ranked Olympique Antibes (9-13) was smashed on the road by third ranked Le Mans (15-7) 93-62 on Friday. The game without a history. Le Mans led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game, while Olympique Antibes only scored one point from the stripe. They outrebounded Olympique Antibes 42-25 including 31 on the defensive glass. Le Mans looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Quite impressive performance for American Mykal Riley (196-85, college: Alabama) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Naturalized American guard Terry Tarpey (195-94, college: William & Mary) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American guard Vincent Sanford (193-90, college: Dayton, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 14 points and Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Olympique Antibes. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Le Mans moved-up to second place, which they share with Strasbourg. Loser Olympique Antibes dropped to the fifteenth position with 13 games lost. Le Mans will face bottom-ranked Hyeres-Toulon (#18) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Olympique Antibes will play against the league's leader Monaco and hope to win that game.
