The game in Gomel supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked COR-Borisfen (26-3) played at the court of 7th ranked GOCOR-Sozh (8-25). COR-Borisfen smashed GOCOR-Sozh 87-63 on Friday. The guests trailed by 16 points at the halftime before their 57-17 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. COR-Borisfen dominated on the defensive end, holding GOCOR-Sozh to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Justin Coleman (203-94, college: Charleston) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Evgeni Ivanov (202-84) who added 20 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Evgeniy Rybkin (195-96) with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Aleksandr Kopacev (203-95) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four GOCOR-Sozh players scored in double figures. GOCOR-Sozh's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. COR-Borisfen maintains third position with 26-3 record having 4 victories less than leader Tsmoki-Minsk. GOCOR-Sozh lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 25 games lost. They share the position with Prinemanye. COR-Borisfen will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. GOCOR-Sozh will play again against COR-Borisfen (#3) and hope to secure a win.
