Regular Season Round 22: Stelmet - Rosa 88-91

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Stelmet Enea BC (15-7) against eleventh ranked Rosa (13-11) on Friday night. Host Stelmet Enea BC was edged by Rosa in a tough game in Zielona Gora 88-91. Rosa made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Czech Patrik Auda (206-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 24 points (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Montenegrin power forward Vladimir Dragicevic (206-86) replied with 29 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Jaroslaw Mokros (200-90) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Stelmet Enea BC. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Rosa moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Polpharma and Trefl. Defending champion Stelmet Enea BC dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. Rosa will play against higher ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Stelmet Enea BC will play against GTK in Gliwice and hopes to get back on the winning track.
