Regular Season Round 29: Pogon Prudnik - Spojnia 77-80

Thirteenth-ranked Pogon Prudnik (9-19) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Spojnia (25-2) on Saturday. The visitors from Stargard managed to secure only three-point victory 80-77. However their fans expected much easier game. Guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Hubert Pabian (201-89, agency: Promotex) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Spojnia's coach Krzysztof Koziorowicz used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Maciej Strzelecki (204-87) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Pogon Prudnik. Spojnia are looking forward to face Kotwica (#12) in Kolobrzeg in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
