Regular Season Round 25: Orchies - Aubenas 73-59

Very predictable result when tenth ranked Orchesien BC (11-13) won against 16th ranked Aubenas (8-17) in Orchies 73-59 on Saturday. They outrebounded Aubenas 40-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Belgian forward Thomas De Thaey (203-91, college: N.Carolina St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. American forward Justin Moss (201-93, college: Buffalo) answered with 21 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Cameroonian forward Michel Ipouck (200-86) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Aubenas. Aubenas' coach let to play ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Orchesien BC maintains tenth place with 11-13 record. Loser Aubenas keeps the sixteenth position with 17 games lost. Orchesien BC will face higher ranked Rueil (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aubenas will play against CFBB (#18) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
