Very important is a road loss of second ranked Kumamoto V. (29-12) against fourth ranked Dragonflies (21-20) on Saturday night. Visiting Kumamoto V. was defeated by Dragonflies in Hiroshima 85-74. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Kumamoto V.. The best player for the winners was American guard Terrence Drisdom (196-92, college: Cal Poly Pomona) who scored 20 points and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). The former international forward Shogo Asayama (192-81) chipped in 14 points. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Dutch-Australian power forward Josh Duinker (209-89, college: Richmond) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragonflies maintains fourth position with 21-20 record. Kumamoto V. at the other side keeps the second place with 12 games lost. Dragonflies' next round opponent will be again league's second-placed Kumamoto V. at home and it may be the game of the week.
