Regular Season Round 18: Alkar - Skrljevo 72-81

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked KK Skrljevo (11-6) beat 9th ranked Alkar (5-12) in Sinj 81-72 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Alkar won third quarter 30-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for KK Skrljevo especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. It was a good game for swingman Davor Konjevic (197-90, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Marko Sarac (204-97) contributed with 13 points for the winners. American center LJ Booth (206, college: Robert Morris) replied with 24 points and 5 assists and forward Tonko Vuko (203-94, college: Pacific) added 16 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Alkar. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KK Skrljevo moved-up to fifth place. Loser Alkar dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. KK Skrljevo will face league's leader Cedevita in Zagreb in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Alkar will play on the road against Jazine (#13) in Zadar and hope to win that game.
