Regular Season Round 25: Saint Vallier - RAC Basket 82-83

The most exciting game of round 25 in the NM1 took place in Saint Vallier. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of their biggest opponent Saint Vallier (20-5) to third ranked Rueil (18-7) 83-82 on Saturday evening. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Kyle Tresnak (208-92, college: Weber St., agency: Athleadz) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Karim Gourari (204-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Rueil players scored in double figures. The former international William Gradit (197-82, college: Hill JC) answered with 22 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Rida El-Amrani (184-86) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Saint Vallier. Saint Vallier's coach Jean-Sebastien Chardon rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rueil maintains third place with 18-7 record having three points less than leader Gries/Oberhoffen. Saint Vallier at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Rueil are looking forward to face Orchesien BC (#10) in Orchies in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saint Vallier will play on the road against the league's leader Gries/Oberhoffen (#1) in Bischwiller and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
