Second Stage Round 6: BC Mess - Heffingen 85-83

Fourth-ranked Heffingen (5-19) gave a tough game to fourth ranked BC Mess (12-12) in Mondercange on Saturday. BC Mess managed to secure only two-point victory 85-83. However their fans expected easier game. BC Mess made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was guard Dylan Talley (196-89, college: Nebraska, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Forward Richard Ross (198-92, college: ODU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four BC Mess players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ryan Logan (201-94, college: Stonehill) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Jovonni Shuler (195-87, college: Savannah St.) added 24 points and 11 rebounds respectively. BC Mess keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Racing. Newly promoted Heffingen keeps the fourth place with 19 games lost. BC Mess will meet at home league's leader Arantia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Heffingen will play against Contern in Luxembourg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
