Regular Season Round 21: CCRB Pro - Strasbourg U21 84-66

The game between second ranked Strasbourg U21 (15-6) and eleventh ranked CCRB Pro (11-10) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Strasbourg U21 was defeated by CCRB Pro in Reims 84-66. CCRB Pro looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Louis Cassier (203-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and power forward Jules Rambaut (202-98) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was power forward Marc Kwedi (200-97) with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Quentin Goulmy (206-98) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CCRB Pro moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Bourg. Strasbourg U21 at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. CCRB Pro is looking forward to face higher ranked ES Chalonnais (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Strasbourg U21 will play against Nanterre (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
