The game between Top Four teams took place in Hesperange. 3rd ranked host T.Hesperange (13-11) lost to first ranked Racing (12-12) 76-71. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was a good game for American swingman Scott Morton (195-87, college: Geneseo St.) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Louis Soragna (183-94) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Racing players scored in double figures. American forward Pierce Cumpstone (203-94, college: Stonehill) replied with 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Prince Foster (193, college: Angelo St.) added 17 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for T.Hesperange. Racing have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Newly promoted Racing maintains first position with 12-12 record, which they share with BC Mess. T.Hesperange lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 11 games lost. Racing's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Residence in Bereldange and it will be for sure the game of the week. T.Hesperange will play at home against the league's second-placed Kordall Steelers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
