Very predictable result when second ranked Valencia (19-3) won against at home 11th ranked Promete (5-16) 66-52 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 66-52. Valencia forced 24 Promete turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Quite impressive performance for Mali power forward Meiya Tirera (186-86, agency: ProDep Management) who helped to win the game recording 19 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Portuguese guard Maria Correia (173-91, agency: ProDep Management) contributed with 9 points and 6 assists for the winners. Valencia's coach Ruben Burgos used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
