Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Stockholm: KFUM Central (#8) and Akropol (#11). Akropol was smashed at home by 26 points 74-100 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The game without a history. KFUM Central led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. KFUM Central looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Swingman Tecle Bymnet (190-96, college: San Francisco CC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 6 rebounds. David Hermelin contributed with 21 points, 8 assists and 8 steals for the winners. Brayan Angulo (-94) replied with 21 points and guard Baba Dibba (183-97) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Akropol. Five KFUM Central and four Akropol players scored in double figures. KFUM Central (9-9) moved-up to seventh place. Newly promoted Akropol keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. KFUM Central's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Stockholm to the arena KFUM Fryshuset.
