There was an upset in Madrid where higher ranked Villarrobledo (16-6) was defeated by eighth ranked Estudiantes B (11-11) 83-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Estudiantes B. Villarrobledo was better in second period 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Villarrobledo was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was point guard Adams Sola (191-0) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Pablo Suarez (188-99) chipped in 16 points. Senegalese forward Bruno Diatta (208-96) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and American forward Martin Smith (196, college: Lipscomb) added 18 points respectively for the guests.
