Very important is a road loss of second ranked Levice (25-10) against fourth ranked Prievidza (24-11) on Saturday night. Visiting Levice was defeated by Prievidza in Prievidza 85-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Levice. Prievidza made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Grant Sitton (206-93, college: Victoria) who led the winners and scored 24 points. His fellow American import point guard Rodney Glasgow (180-92, college: VMI) accounted for 12 points and 12 assists for the winning side. Serbian Milivoje Mijovic (200-91, agency: 011 Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and international point guard Simon Krajcovic (191-94, college: Loyola Mary) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Levice in the defeat. Five Levice players scored in double figures. Levice's coach Teo Hojc rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Prievidza have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 24-11 record. Levice at the other side keeps the second position with ten games lost. They share it with Kosice. Prievidza will play against Karlovka (#7) in Bratislava in the next round. Levice will play at home against the league's leader Inter Bratislava (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
