Regular Season Round 35: Inter Bratislava - Nova Ves 104-76

SBL top team - Inter Bratislava (30-5) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Nova Ves (4-31) 104-76. Inter Bratislava made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Nova Ves turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) who scored 19 points and 4 assists. The former international center Michal Batka (204-87) chipped in 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Richard Amardi (206-90, college: Oregon) produced 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Bosnian center Djordje Ninkovic (210-93) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Nova Ves' coach Erich Korfanta gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains first place with 30-5 record. Nova Ves lost their sixth game in a row. They stay dead last with 31 lost games. Inter Bratislava will meet league's second-placed Levice on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nova Ves will play against Iskra Svit (#5) and hope to secure a win.
