Regular Season Round 19: Tartu Ulikool - Kalev/Cramo 82-90

The game between Top Four teams took place in Tartu. Their biggest opponent host Tartu Ulikool (15-7) lost to first ranked Kalev/Cramo (19-1) 90-82. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 28-23. But Tartu Ulikool won second period 24-23. Lithuanian Vytenis Cizauskas (187-92) came up with 25 points and Lithuanian forward Julius Kazakauskas (196-90) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Tartu Ulikool in the defeat. Tartu Ulikool's coach Priit Vene tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Defending champion maintains first place with 19-1 record. Tartu Ulikool at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Kalev/Cramo will play against Parnu (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tartu Ulikool will play against TLU/Kalev (#5) in Tallinn and hopes to get back on the winning track.
