This time Visby Ladies used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Solna 73-67 on Saturday night. Visby Ladies made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for Canadian forward Rashida Timbilla (186-92, college: Massachusetts) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Slovakian center Regina Palusna (192-89) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American center Janel McCarville (188-82, college: Minnesota) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Malin Edlund (183-88) added 13 points and 5 steals in the effort for AIK Basket. AIK Basket's coach Anders Hard rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Visby Ladies (7-13) moved-up to seventh place. Newly promoted AIK Basket dropped to the eighth position with 14 games lost. Visby Ladies will face Mark (#9) in Kinna in the next round. AIK Basket will play at home against IK Eos and hope to win that game.
